after reading all the horror story's of snapped bolts when doing body lifts i was not looking forward to doing mine,but needs must so i set off just having a look as i had no intention of taking them out just now until i had all the bits together to finish it .
well i hunted for my wd40 so i can give them all a good soaking but to no avail as my eldest son had used it all on his push bikes. well i will just give them a turn just to see how hard this was going to be ............... and every one came out without any problems at all well i say all i think i am right in saying that there is 12 bolts 6 captive and six nut and bolt if so then i am a jammy git .

its the first time i have came across that .i will get some photos in the morning need batteries for my cam and the shop is closed and its 9 mile to the next one
i should put up a reward to see if any one has seen it

It is the fear of snapped bolts that has so far kept this job off the radar for me , despite it being one of the jobs I would most like to do , so far not one single job has gone smoothly on the frontera

Today I was surprised as all mine played ball. One captive fought and I thought it would pop, but it came out whole. I did snap a front one, but hey it beat undoing it. Just a royal pain getting all the pucks in, rain stopped play for today.

That was my Shorty, lessons learnt are do all the mods before months of playing has killed the bolts. Oh and copperslip everything.
