help !!!! need a car moving

i've been offered a car ( head gasket gone) to use as spares for my lwb project. problem is it won't run so i can't collect using my usual lorry and ramps (the only advantage of working in haulage!!!)

has anyone got

a: a portable winch i can borrow to get onto lorry (local to wolves or leighton buzzard) so i can collect and drop off when finished.(gravity being used to get vehicle off!!)

or

b: a car trailer and winch and be willing to move from wolverhampton to leighton buzzard (costs covered by me offcourse)

you can rent a transporter trailer from a firm down grovebury road they come with winch on

i used one from there a few years back

no car to tow it with as focus has no towbar (plus its weak)

but forgot i have a mate with a landy and car trailer

just a note to anyone wanting to tow .
if you have a new licence (after 1996) you can only tow 750kg .you will have to pass yor B+E towing test.
the majority of folk on here should be ok

class 1 hgv licence so no worries about towing

so if you drive a 3.5 ton van you cant tow anything .?i find the rules and regs confusing . maybe im daft.
my friend passed his test 4 yrs ago and was told he couldnt tow anything .
