Is that the one hosted by Tony Mason (met him by the way)
He did a series of 6 I believe, covering Comp Trials, Comp Safaries, Pay & Play days, Classic Reliability Trials, etc and each episode took a visit to the Rain Forest Challenge.
Easy watching.

Think I've seen them before I think, did they follow the devon 4x4 team in the rainforest?
If it is the same series they did one with military offroaders that had my mates old scammel explorer on it-proper offroading machine!!
We used to go out playing, him with the scammel me with my bedford rl (ex afs hose layer) and another buddies Reo.
Was a right giggle, did massive amounts of fuel and got some outstanding jams behind us as the scammell only did about 20mph (but would do that towing probably another 50 scammels behind it!)
Awesome machines off road though...my rl didnt articulate hardly between the axles and chassis...the chassis twisted instead...thats why they are all rivetted so they do this...the springs are more for load carrying!
Not a bad series though...comp safari one had quite an amusing fella on it with a buggy type thing if I remember rightly.

No it was set in S.Africa and had lots about camping and equipment. Very outdoors roughing it type program
