. just letting you all know to check before you post anything with royal mail / parcelforce, that contains as a whole or part off the object, any glass . You will note be covered for any compensation if it is damaged. even if the glass isnt damaged but some other part of it is. If package contains any glass object you dont get squat. 
I sent a rear window (swb) to Ireland , seemed to disapear for 3 weeks , then get a card asking me to phone parcelforce , who tell me its trashed. They say not to worry as i can claim upto £100 compensation for the value off the goods. Try to claim and all im getting told is NO . Its glass you cant claim for glass. Apparently even after the post office took the package marked as fragile contains Glass and my cash and informed me I was covered upto £100 on the package , Its my fault for not checking the website to see what the exceptions were. The fact that pacelforce told me i cud claim upto £100 compensation means their sorry , but i shudnt have been told that . Still not eligable to claim. Now i have to submit a claim form and add a letter of complaint as i feel i was wrongly advised and sold this product and wait to see what happens.
