part number

my exhaust has started blowing so i popped into kwik fit for a quote, i so wish i hadnt, because they told me the centre section had gone and to replace it would cost £400 :shock:

after picking myself up i headed for home for a hot strong cuppa, now some hours later & semi recovered im trawling the net trying to find said part but not having the part number [i didnt think at the time to ask for it ] its a bit hit & miss , so if anyone could shed any light on it id be grateful :wink:

i can ring kwik fit tomorrow but its bugging me now :lol:

Have you tried Milner Off Road.
I did buy my complete system for the 2.8TD from bodyshopwarehouse and was very satisfied with the quality and service. But I do remember looking at Milner at the same time and they were comparible in price.

ive looked at milners site but not knowing the part number is a bit of a pain, they have a box section "flexi" for £89 that seems too cheap to be true

I only payed £56 for a centerbox and tail pipe for my shorty from a local motor factors. There a deals out there if you shop arround.

thanks guys for your help so far, that is the part i was looking at sir doris it just seemed to be too good to be true, the only thing is milners cant cross reference the gm part number for compatability so can anyone else confirm what sir doris has said that this is 100 % the part i require ? i just dont want to oder it & its wrong :wink:
