SE SNOWstorm: Last night's CRAZY Roadtrip!!

OK so I'm crazy. But all Fronty owners are a little bonkers. The worst snow in the South East of England for 20 years... and I decide to drive to Berks / Surrey at 5am JUST COS I CAN. lol.

I started in Stanmore North London and worked my way anti-clockwise down through Watford, Amersham, Beaconsfield, Slough, Windsor, Ascot, Chobham, Sunningdale, Deepcut, Woking, Normandy and finally to Ash (Surrey) using only B roads!! And they were NOT GRITTED! INSANE!!!

And that's it folks! Did I mention that I also managed to tow / nudge at least 5 cars who were stuck:

- A crisply dressed guy, so fiercly proud of his £30,000 jaguar, that he wouldnt look me in the eye.
- A little Mercedes A Class that had the audacity (or bravado) to venture out into the abyss
- And a series of other poor unfortunate sods

All in all, a good night's work!!!!! Proves how BRILLIANT a car the Fronty is - very very much underrated by many a ignorant soul / supercilious land rover owner (bumped into a few of 'em today). 4WD engaged, it just ploughed through the snow and compressed ice like a unstoppable tank!

Oh well, I want more extreme weather SOON... Come on fickle British weather!!

yes i agree my m8 next door goes to bow in london and takes him 30 mins normally it took 1-1/2 hrs to go 1/2 way this morning and because the youngsters think they no better it took me 35 mins to do 2 miles to work

I know! especially the people with little city cars out in the country? No chance!!!

I used to go fishing years ago and the snow was 8ft deep around here, :lol:

I have to ask that how much is 3ft of snow in cm:s? I know that one feet is about 30cm, does that "ft" mean feet or something else? :shock:

How much snow did you get there? We got only 20cm here, but weather forecast promised 20cm more during Friday-Saturday. Time to go outdoor then.

So you got a good load of it, then. Must have been a chaos on the roads. But a Fronty can handle a quite deep snow, i´ve pushed through a 90cm snowbank made by those trucks who open roads after blizzard. And done some white laning in 40-50cm untouched snow. Fronty likes it.
