I know there has been alot of discussion recently about factory and aftermarket bullbar regulations i had a poke around the Winky Wonky Web and found this http://www.larsoa.org.uk/larsoa/downloads/bull_bars.pdf have a peek and hopefully this sheds light on the subject this document was last amended in 2006

they are legal if come in jeep from new but illegal if you fit after market stupid but true same as turbos bigger engine have to notify insurance company
