Re: Merry Christmas and A Happy New Year FOGI am sure that I would speak the same message as many other members & that would be to say this site would not be as good as it is if it was not for the deadication of some of the FOG members who run this site.

Re: Merry Christmas and A Happy New Year FOGSeasons Greetings to all.
It has been a busy year for the Frontera Owners Group and whilst we might have experienced some low points, they are far exceeded by the highs. Following the issues we experienced earlier in the year, we have become stronger and more determined to make FOG one of, if not the best, free Vauxhall Frontera resource on the internet. With our Fronteras another year older, their quirks continue to manifest themselves with issues posted within the technical forum - impressively, amongst our members we are able to offer an increasing array suggestions to resolve these issues and in the process saving us all time and possibly more importantly in the current climate, money. Over the past year we have seen quite a few more laning trips organised by our members and a greater number of participants. It is rewarding to know that those who once were novice laners have gained knowledge and experience through their associations with FOG and have offered to lead these days (and nights) out with great success. It is excellent to read of members helping out each other with maintenance projects, whether in the warmth of a factory unit or on another member’s driveway. This just goes to prove what a great bunch of people our members are, willing to help out another member, all for the reward of keeping another Frontera on the road (and maybe a hot mug of coffee). This year saw a first attempt by Frontera owners to try and set a World Record for the longest convoy of single marque vehicles – and what a great and memorable weekend that turned out to be; 42 Fronteras in one place that had come from all parts of the country to take part. The range of modifications for our chosen mode of transport is increasing as members discover innovative solutions to desired goals. We all wish to individually adapt our vehicles for our chosen reasons and discussion through the forum leads to new ideas and the range of skills that member’s posses, brings those ideas to a reality. Personally, I would like to thank the FOG Administration team and the forum Moderators (past and present), for their dedication this past year. On the whole, the forum runs smoothly but there is the odd occasion where an issue arises and requires a swift resolve. The team here are passionate and dedicated and the work they do publicly or behind the scenes really is appreciated. I would also like to publicly acknowledge the work Alchemist has done in setting up and maintaining this forum and main website. Working in his spare time, Jay has provided us with an excellent arena to chat, play, research and arrange days out – I often wonder what his next trick out of the bag might be. We thank all of you for making the Frontera Owners Group what it is. Whether you are working over the holiday season, visiting family or staying home, may I wish you all a merry Christmas and a safe and prosperous new year. Lawrence
