the garage says this is nothing to do with the track rod ends being knackerd. i know what i think and its not the same as the garage. all work being paid for by the dealer.

PT CRUISER
Got this as the family car its been to the garage to a knocking done under the drivers foot no idea what it was i'm to fat to fit under it but apparrently there was some damage to my track rod ends as in knackerd. 4 months ago nearly new tyres on front not totaly illegal below the indicators
the garage says this is nothing to do with the track rod ends being knackerd. i know what i think and its not the same as the garage. all work being paid for by the dealer.The only boundry is your imagination.

Ayup i used to work on them and i never renewed a trackrod end on a pt,but they are prone to the wishbone bushes spliting and the arm drops on the subframe and that can knock.or the other thing is antiroll bar link rods can knock aswell.hope this helps a bit

yea i think it was the wishbone bushes the dealer left it that long after i told him what i think it was its damaged the lower wishbone at least he has to pay to repair it
