kwik fit price made my day

have been looking round for a set of new tyres finaly decided on goodyear wrangler hp all weather (on road use only) phoned round for prices local tyre place (boro) £390 national tyres £457 savoy tyres £415 kwik fit £528 how do they stay in bussiness ?

I got four mud tyres not remoulds delivered for less than £300

found this on kwik fit website it works out £340 for 4 not sure on your size but did 255-75-15

Maxxis buckshot 31/10.5/15 works out as £238 including delivery for 4

the cost to us at work from our tyre wholesalers are £69.31 + vat each

Was just looking at the prices of the 33/12.5/15 maxxis Buckshot mudders, £393 delivered for 5 tires. I wish I knew about them before I ordered the tires I have now.

Came across Camskill while I was looking at getting a daihatsu charade again. Didnt realise they did 4x4 tires as well.

I paid about the same price for my Marix Lions. Just under 32" in size but they are remoulds. A much more aggressive pattern though being the same as insa special tracks.

Still though, I know where to go for my next set ;-)

Or perhaps I could sell the marix and get the maxxis ???
