I am lucky enough to have the fronty as a second car when i tax it and also a nice comfy warm clean family car thats easy to drive nice and fast . so why would i rather drive the fronty that has a leaky sun roof, smells like wet carpet and mud drinks large amounts of petrol, steers like a jelly and bits fall off at every bump and not to mention its little oil leak or five.

I think its because to drive the fronty you feel a sense of achievement, like you have overcome all the odds and made it!!

I know what you mean though....I think most 4x4's are a different experience to drive.....and the bigger the better!!

i love the fact you can take full width speed humps at 40 with people in the back arms and legs go everwhere.

Once a few mods go on and larger tires then it starts to feel special. Its nice to drive a car that was slated by the press and general public that you have uniquely made your own. As many of you know there are no readily available aftermarket upgrades for the frontera and everything we have done to ours makes them that little bit more special and unique.

I met a guy in Dolgellau who never thought that a frontera could look so purposeful, he asked me what I had done, lift, tires etc. Said he had never seen a frontera modded before and was mightily impressed. I smiled as I told him there was a secret underground movement to revive the frontera as a landrover eater

I know exactly what you mean. I feel as noticable as a ferrari when i drive around town in Angelina and feel safe
