Good Stuff and Bad Stuff....

... Had a day of it today..

Couldn't seem to actually get anything to work.
Fixed the Rear brakes Binding.. now the Front brakes are binding... AGAIN!

Well on the bright side, I did get my new Air filter/box thingy...(pics attached) It's a Cone affair in a Carbon Fibre case. Got it after the VX one I brought got a hole in it.... Took the Turbo off and found grit, and crud, so the filter had failed, and later on I found the hole... oddly though this is the second one this has happened too... :evil:

Now thought brakes are binding AGAIN! gggrrrrr, I'd love just 1 days motoring where nothing brakes, needs replacing, needs fixing, needs tightening, needs loosening... oh well hope it stays nice tomorrow, I'll give it another go..

Can you please give us details of filter thingy,supplier,price,etc :wink:

It's a Halfords "RipSpeed" (I know they are for Nova and Escorts, and general Boy Racers) Airfilter.. it costs £49.99
It's Universal, and I suppose thats True as it went straight onto a 2.2DTi B Series no Problem.
Low end Pickup is 100% Better...

Not much to report anywhere else in the rev range though.
However it is cleanable, and is sealed in, so should stand up to Wading etc. I took it apart and sealed it with PTFE Tape around the joins in the casing.
