Chair lift fund-where we are...

Hi Foggers!
In the last 9 months or so, so many of you guys & girls have participated & contributed to the people lift fundraiser and are possibly wondering "where we are" in terms of monies collected etc! Im really thrilled to say that all together,we all have managed to raise £1180 by getting muddy :lol:

Rest assured, the funds are safe (I hope!!) in a separate Halifax bank account and will stay there until the £2200 is reached.
Whilst being incredibly appreciated what everyone has achieved,I would like to humbly ask that no more fundraising is done by any foggers as there are so many other people/charities/fundraisers who also need helping.Myself, Eldene and Brandon are very touched by the comradie and drive by all concerned and if you dont mind, especially our welsh friend Reeco who, on his own back,initiated this drive.
Although I mentioned some time back that I was taking up Rainbows Hospice's offer of help in fundraising, I did not do it at the time as there was so much activity kicking off that it was hard to tell them how much we had already raised!! I think now is the time to provide them with photos etc of all our activities so they can see that a great effort has already been made in collecting the £1180 we now have.I will keep all informed as things progress :wink:

it is so sweet of you to consider us all and ask us to stop fund raising in benefit of other charities, but i for one WON'T i see this as a fantastic opertunity to make some one realy happy and there for will do all i can to keep raising funds for you.
There are loads of other charities and plenty of other opertunity to help them, so shut up and let me help

im sure there are others who will feel the same, charity begins at home!! Foggers are all one family.

Anyway ive just done 50 jars of christmas chukney :lol:

Well Done to all who have contributed especially Perfect Princess who on her own showed some very clever initiative and has made a healthy chunk of cash, and there maybe more if Foggers buy some of the magic chutney just in time for Christmas.

Martin, I won't say too much but we should be having another £ 150 - 200 coming in over the next month or so.

On a serious note, as some of you know I am disabled and I have a stair lift as there is no way I can tackle stairs and these things are fantastic and change your life, if your lucky enough to be able-bodied you can not fully appreciate the sense of independence a machine like this gives you. What you folks are doing will change someone’s life, give them self respect and a feeling that they can continue with family life without asking for help.
Things like this makes you think the worlds not such a bad place , bravo to you all
