Hi all.

. Well had a good day planned for today, take the eldest and his mate out lanning , so me and my mate with the vit, head of into the unknown. All was looking well until we noticed a peculier smell, half way up the first climb. Yes you guessed it I fried my clutch :butt:

. So after being towed by my mates vit to a carpark we awaited the AA, while we waited a RAC van turns up with a frelander in tow, same problem :lol:

always seems funnier when its someone else. :lol:

So my great day out was spent waiting in a car park , hohum. Just bought a clutch kit from rollings £147 inc vat :shock:

. £80 cheaper than Halfords. Just got to fit it now, any advice or surgestions wud be helpful.

also anybody know how to post pics off photobucket as i have pics of today on their just cant retreive them. :oh yer:

just go to the bottom of the pic on photobucket and copy and paste the IMG code

Not long had my clutch done £158 inc vat that was just for the labour as I supplied the parts.

Well after spending 2 hrs on my back yesterday swearing at stubborn bolts ive decided 2 put it in a garage :butt:

. Been told it'l cost £180 so not too bad as Im supplying the clutch kit. Shud be back on the road in a couple off days. :dance:

The job itself looks a lot easier on the 2.0 sport with the body lift as opposed to the 2.8 were the exhaust has to be removed. Live and learn.
