Hi all,now that i'm getting into starting mod our bog standard frontera,i have a question, will i be needing to change the pucks that lift the bodywork?? i got the shackles from Alex at the GWRA and i forgot if he said i needed them or not..sorry alex Also there was at the meeting a burgandy SWB frontera with tyre print design,(i think it's fuddy mucker)i'd like to ask the owner where he got the snorkel top from.i got one from ebay but the top is a little too large we feel. looking at the snorkel top it would be ideal for the size of tubing that we bought. Any info on these questions would be great.

the shackles from Alex are for the suspension lift (if they are the ones I'm thinkking of) the pucks are for a body lift, different animal alltogether

According to the missus, i can do what i like..she says i normally do any way,i think thats womans code for i give up.lol so now i've got my own way,i've just gotta decide how high to lift the body, what height is ideal for a bodylift before i have to extend the brake pipes ect?? i'm just waiting for nice weather before i do the 2“ suspension lift.

Thanks ian for lift info..i've just ordered the 2" body lift kit from xpajun @ £60 + p&p =£72 in total. i can't wait to get started on the frontera now..just a shame i get the projects go ahead at this time of year. maybe, just maybe, the missus had this planned all along,i think lori was thinking that if i got the go ahead now..i'd put it off till next spring/summer..WRONG!!!! I've just got to await a response from fuddy mucker ( muddy where for art thou!!! ) about his snorkel top,and thats it..hopefully it'll be mostly done before christmas: 2" suspension lift, 2" body lift, snorkel fitting,( and fingers crossed, snorkel top ), blue led dash conversion, just leaving a new set of tyres and respray for spring/summer...and anything else that might pop up. i'll do a before and after piccy for the site, then one for the totally completed frontera prodject, when i've finished.

Hi again ian, the snorkel top that i took piccy of at the GWRA was a round one,i just wish i knew how to add photo's so i could show you.(i think i got it now). but i think also that he used slimline tubing and the top seems to compliment the tubing. small.jpg

Could you not use some sort of reducer adapter to make it fit. The landy swivel tops are far less restrictive (suction) than the mushroom tops.
