Frontera B custom exhaust manifolds

Hi, a friend of mine has a 2000 frontera B 2.2 petrol and his cast manifold cracked, he said its a common problem, so he asked me to make him one as i make custom exhausts for a living, but he went and bought one before i had a chance to make one. He gave me the cast one anyway so i made a jig and made a few to sell. If anyone is interested in one they will cost £180 plus a bit for postage, they are a bargain at this price, and a lot better than the cast one, and look cool to.

Im just trying to work out how to put some more photos of the manifolds up, im a bit new to forums.

Ooo, how do you fancy the task of creating a sports system (de-cat ?) for a 2.0I Sport ?

i had a part custom system built for my sport at mij in walsall, had a few exhausts done by them now for various cars, not the cheapest but very good.

Actually, Ashley's not too far away (on the same site that MPC was) - perhaps I should pay them a visit (my back box is blowing).

can you run a 2.0 sport without the cat converter j reg ?????????

You can run any car without the cat, it just affects the emisions, but you could get a de-cat pipe and put the cat in when its MOT time.

I dont need a CAT for emissions :dance:

I dont know much about fronteras , but i do know the car in question would most likely only have one LAMBDA. therefore this would be before the cat and allow for a de-cat section. Yes, if it had a second lambda after the cat this would almost always affect the mixture causing the engine management light to come on, but to remedy this you would need to get a re-map or chip. this would then allow you to run a de-cat on a 2 lambda system.
