oil change

how many things need the oil changed?

its a swb a 2.0l sport.

ive changed the engine oil and the rear diff oil.
now is there just the Gearbox /Transfer Box to do? and is this the one thats all in one that i can fill via the hole the little gear lever leaves when removed? and uses engine oil ?

There is also the front diff to do with gear oil. The gearbox and transfer have seperate drain and fill holes so am not sure if both will be filled through the gearbox. You can fill the gearbox that way and I'm sure someone will advise about the transfer, and yes, use engine oil.

There should be a drain and filler plug, the problem with filling through the gear stick is its to easy to over fill.

Refill plug is directly below the gearstick. If filling through the gearstick hole, remove the plug to allow any eccess to overflow. Use engine oil, but only 10/30 - 10/40.
Remember to check BOTH axles, and while you are under there you would be as well to grease the propshaft nipples.

Remember to always undo the filler/level plug before the drain plug.
