How can i tell?

I have a 1995 Holden Frontera Sports with 2.oL Opel motor and coil rear end, but want to know wat series it is? as i wouldnt have a clue how to tell as there really only ever brought out 3 different Sports out here in oz!

If any one can shead some light would be great! thanks

it's an A series

the B series started when the body shape changed

it changed here around late 98 early 99

they've got them (sort of) in the states ...under the "Isuzu Rodeo" badge

The long wheel base is called a Holden/Isuzu Frontera. It was available with the 2.6 or 3.2 petrol engines both of which were 6 cylinder variants and possibly the 2.8 diseisel turbo.

The Isuzu Trooper is called Jackaroo in Australia.

From 92 to 95 all the Fronteras here had leaf suspension and rear drum brakes, then from 95 on they all went coil suspension with disc brakes all round.

The A series continued to 1998 when the B Series new shape started to appear in the UK.

I think the confusion is the A series had both coil and leaf suspension.

Sounds like its the same as the USA, Frontera's (Amigo-SWB and Rodeo-LWB) there they didnt get coil rear ends until I think 98' on, which would be the new shape.
