Re: CHUG CHUG SPLUTTERIf it is backfiring, then the problem won't be fuel. Its either electrical or timing.
Regards, Keith.

Re: CHUG CHUG SPLUTTERYeah, if it has a missing tooth or it is loose, your timing will be out.
When did you have it renewed last? Regards, Keith.

Re: CHUG CHUG SPLUTTEROK, I would seriously think about replacing it now anyway. Even if it is not causing the problem, you need to keep on top of them and replace them at the correct intervals. Remember to fit a complete kit, ie, the tensioner kit, as the belt manufacturer will not cover it under a warranty if something happens to it.
Regards, Keith.

Re: CHUG CHUG SPLUTTERDon't start worrying over the condition of your camblet. If worst does happen and it snaps it does no damage at all on the C20NE engine as it is classed as a "SAFE" engine. I.e the pistons don't hit the valves in the event of a failure.
Trust me, been there, done that. If you want your timing belt changing I'll pop down to Alex's place and do It for you. I'll even pick you the belt up at trade price. Lets get sunday out of the way and we will sort it out.
Re: CHUG CHUG SPLUTTERNow there's good service for you eh?
Take him up on it and get it done. Regards, Keith.

Re: CHUG CHUG SPLUTTERsounds like a good idea i'll do the rocker cover at the same time. And bring loads of change for the coffe machine or better still a kettle and tea stuff and propper mugs that don't crumple when you hold them.
