Had car in for a service, 2.2 16v 1999.
anyway , got a phone call that my truck had platinum spark plugs, and these needed replacing. dont get me wrong, i trust my garage. i was just wondering what these are,
are these better, what difference are they from a normal plug. and will these now last a good few years as i am lead to believe.

there just another variant of a standard spark plug i think the plugs for the 2.2 are ngk BKR6E-11
