How much do you pay for Insurance ?

About to pick up a 96 SWB.

What do people pay for Insurance ?

I am thinking of only TPFT for the first time in 20 years.

I have a number of policies with APlan, and they have offered a NCB match.

I use Direct Line and get a good deal. You could also get a quote from the sponsors on the home page.

Try our partner Company Chris Knott, you will get a discount. Altought for some reason I found AA to be cheapest for me. Full NCB and £320pa.

a lot of policies depend on age as a means to determine experience :roll:

i'm with C.I.S full comp and protected NCB for just a smidgin over 3ton on my 95 2.8tdi LWB (modifications declared)

I have just insured my toy, TPFT with all the modifications declared. it also covers offroad and greenlaning use, it came in at £135. This was with Noel Dazely who's link you can find in the recommended service section.

As a foot note Dean at Noel Dazely was very helpful with sorting everything out and it is standard practice to give cover for off road and greenlaning with all poicies taken out.

Got a little confused, the TPFT is £112, the Fully Comp is £142.75

As the windscreen cover is included in the fully comp, it makes no sense to go TPFT.

Definately mate, hardly know anyone these days that finds it worth taking out TPFT.

Have only got mine TPFT. I was running hilux's for 7 years before the fronty and was able to insure those as commercial vehicles, they wouldn't let me put the fronty on the same policy so had to start from scratch as for some reason I couldn't use my full NCB on the new policy.

Thats called "ripping you off".

alot depends on your post code these days i think, living and driving down here in the smoke, i pay 750 of the not so jolly green stuff, thats fully comp. and business use added as well.

Fully comp £200 exactly. but a very good postcode and 5yrs no claims. Adrian Flux insurance

Fully Comp with all mods declared, green laning and off road included, 3 points for speeding and the missus to drive is £205 fully comp with Adrian Flux

Looks like I am paying a bit too much at a bit over £1300 , two claims in two days last year didn`t help one a bloke wrote his car off and scratched my wheel (my fault ) next day I turned my fronty over total loss , at least it paid for this one.

Just reinsured my fronty with Premier choice £140 TPFT :wink:

All mods declared with the wife as an alternate driver. Quite happy with that
