air intake article fronty 2.2 sport prtrol

scuddmann again, a few weeks ago I was reading here about an air intake mod using metal piping for a 2.2 petrol sport, at least I think it was here!! I have seen the one on the front page of FOC but the one I am talking about was more indepth am I going nuts or is it out there somewhere, "over the rainbow" thanks again tara, Scuddmann

HI, no it was not a snorkel but a mod to lose the air resvoiurs, and your picys did not come through so I cannot see them, cheers, scuddmann

Guys, thanks for the posts but the article I red was not about a snorkel, but about replacing the induction pipes from the standard airbox to the plenum chamber/massflow air meter, with metal and blue silicon rubber piping, so as to remove the air resonators from the original ducting, the upshot was improved engine response and better reving through the range, poss better fuel consumption but I do not know on that one. I could probably do the conversion but am unsure on a couple off minor points, anyway thanks again guys, scuddmann
