I am having difficulty knowing how to post a technical question:

Rev counter, speedo and fuel gauge don't work when I start up.
They do work if I put the side lights on.
Can't drive on side lights as the off side one doesn't work (how do I change the bulb?)
Turning the side lights off causes the rev counter to go off, the speedo and fuel gauge continue to work.
Any advice will be greatly appreciated.

Oh Dear.... common Frontera "B" problem with the speedo etc, fixable (sometimes) if you're good with soldering.
Look under known frontera "b" faults.
Sidelight is easy, its next to the headlight bulb.
Twist the plastic retainer ring on the back of the headlight remove the rubber gasket underneath and you'll see it (its a push fit).
Don't pull it out by the wires!

How do I get it through the mot if the speedo only works when it wants to?

Don't think the speedo comes into the mot test.
