Hi foggies, Just got a 2nd hand bullbar how do you get old plastic
coating off? tried blowtorch just melts,also whats best paint to use?
donation to fog when job done Ash.

If you keep at it with the torch it should get past melting and burn off I would have thought. Could always chuck it in a fire and get it out before it distorts. As for paint I suppose smoothrite would be as good as any. Have fun

you could get a dremmel and cut the coating top and bottom and peel it off
