Repairs after Monkey Motor Sport Pay n Play day....

After playing in the mud on Sunday at Monkey Motor Sport Pay n Play day my truck came home with the drivers wing looking like this :

And the bottom of the air box looking like this .....
good job that the cone air filter site's above it

anyway after taking the wheel off i got the wing to fit like this ...

still not happy with how it fitted i unbolted the wing at the bottom & tryed again and got it like this ...

Still not 100% happy ( yep i can be a perfectionist at times :lol:

) i took the wing off ...

had a Little play with the brackets on the inside of wing and now it fits like this

Now looks like thats the best i am going to get it even if it is a bit tight to the door at the top :roll:

as for the bottom of the air box i just washed it with the hose pipe

Thats as near to perfext, spot on and well done

Damn those front mud flaps ......

Looking good Rich. I think the door may have moved slightly from what I remember of it happening. I fitted Laurence's bullbars today and even though I spent an hour + power washing the car the day after the event I was still picking bits of dried clay from the underside of the car. I thought Id gotten it all. Nasty red stuff it is too.
