What to do with the Fronty?

Due to my current circumstances and the fact that the tax runs out on Project #1 at the end of the month, a serious decision has to be made about the Frontera.
I am conflicted and so I have opened it up to the group.

The list of immediate work req. below;

N/S/F indicator needs replacing
Suspension bushes all round
Front end needs to be stripped down and put back n properly after a knock
N/S/R wheel arch needs extensive work (no repair panels available)
Head needs to come off to investigate 1 oil leak
Major oil leak other than head (dumps all its oil in around 100 miles)
*Thinking engine out job cos of the above 2 points*
Drivers door pillar (The usual)
Needs a new exhaust centre section
Windscreen needs replacing
Need to check chassis mounting points due to some corrosion

There are other "aesthetic" bits that need doing but are far from urgent.

My other problems are;
I have nowhere to break it
I have nowhere to store it
Cos of the work required I'm not gonna get a lot if I sell it
Once I go bankrupt I wont be able to apply for any credit over £500 so insurance will be a problem

Its a tough decision to make Dan.With all that work,I personally would break it & flog the parts rather than sell it outright and get almost nowt back. Im sure you could always get another fronty at a later stage for a modest amount with less work to do on it than the one you have now.
As said, a real toughy!

As much as I hate to say it, given current circumstances it may be better to break it. But as Brachunky said when things are looking up you will probably find a better one somewhere for not much money.

i think you will get another one far cheaper than fixing your old truck . once you start breaking it then you will have to pay to get it up lifted more expense but then make sure you get some money back from it why not sell it as seen and try making a few quid back . i paid £500 for my 2.3 td with a full mot and tax with a full service history so i hope you get as lucky as i did ..

Already been offered £100 as scrap so long as it is a "rolling" chassis/shell. Think I'd be lucky to get that if I sold it as seen.
Had a word with one of the boys from C R Allen who, despite mainly dealing with LR (booo hiss), are a pretty good bunch. His assessment was the same as mine. For £500 in parts I could turn the truck into something pretty decent and be safe in the knowledge that the work had been done. Buying a 2nd hand car you just don't know what you're gonna get.
Any who, the decision has been made to take off the bits that can be easily got at (as it were) but leave the main block, running gear (axles etc), doors and windscreen.
