Hi all

Have a 96(N) Apache SWB Sport.

Was wondering, whats the 2nd button on the key fob for, as the same button unlock and locks the car?

the alarm system maybe? or it could be a personnal alarm/anti hi-jack button, anychance of a pic of it?

is it the standard blip or after market ???

Will do pic when I get a chance, but I'm guessing it the standard one (might be wrong though).

In the absence of a pic, it's a black fob, very plain (no symbols on it), 2 rectangle(ish) shaped buttons. Top button locks and unlocks.
Got a feeling 2nd button may disable alarm after car is locked, but not sure.

There is a tiny green light in the top left corner of fob that lights up when button pressed.

hi mate is it this fob in the bottom right of this pic



then if so its normaly a lock button and the other s a unlock button

up to 2000 you can program these manualy

No, isn't that 1. Buttons are one underneath the other if held vertically.

I'll take pic later when at home.

Didn't realise, I have it with me in my pocket. It's more of a half moon shape, so perhaps it's aftermarket.
