workshop manuals on disc

what is the best work shop manual to have on disc for our trucks .
i am looking for preferably a vx workshop manual on cd that cover every thing concerned with the frontera range .
so what do you use apart from the haynes garbage book of hope . :twisted:

Stopped using the haynes manuals after the first one i bought. (be about 18 at the time ). Most of the info is unreliable/wrong. Telling you to strip off parts that you do not need to disturb. Showing pictures of parts that have nothing to do with the job in hand. So when you,ve parted with your hard earned cash for one of these books just remember the problem you have with your car is never covered in these books.

thats my point exactly i hate them just a wast of money

One would imagine the VX TIS would be best, and they are available, though one would imagine they are covered by copyright, so not exactly legal.

And they may or may not be available on fleabay, but that would hardly be legal either would it.

If you dont need pics get an auto data book costly but worth it

I happen to have in my possession genuine workshop manuals for 2.0,2.4 & 2.3 tdi, which I will be sending to Admin asap so they can put them up as pdf files for all (I used to be a VX master technician) and this is what we were given to learn about Fronties.
It includes transmissions......whoever is going to scan/convert it is in for a long job :lol:
