I did and I still do - gave out quite a few at the Donny show, but then the email address stopped working.

I'll have a play over the weekend and see if I can come up with a Word Document (currently in Publisher) for all to download, edit and print.

trugga,dont wanna sound rude but why have business cards printed up with your name & personal phone number on if you dont want to give them out think it was abit harsh to houndog,you could of least asked him why he wanted some & what it wanted to use them for.....

I don't mind giving my details out to those I choose, but I'm not going to post them on the internet for all to harras me.

I don't think I was being rude, as I did say I'd try and sort something out over the weekend.

i agree trugga,but i must say i'd of thought you'd have been a bit more of a gent over it i.e why do you have f.o.g business cards if your only going to pick & choose who you give them too & i do understand that its your own phone number,but why put your own number on it you only want to select the callers,i'm afraid if you want to have a site like fog or a business then your number does go on the internet these days,part of life,the way i see it is houndog asked you to give his friends or promote the site etc isnt that the idea of business cards etc(to get more people interested),so ok your going to print something off the weekend(fair play to you) but i'm sorry & dont think im arguementitive(soz my spellings terrible),if fog have had business cards made up i think they should be availible to all interested (i dont mean 100s but a couple) at the end of the day its promoting fog & the more people using the site makes fog more money,so that it can go on for years to come....& maybe if you really need your phone number on the card (thats a part of business) then maybe your better put a pay as you go number onit & answer it when you feel like it,i know whats its like with phone calls as i have been in business for 10 yrs,but when i give out a business card its because i want people to phone me i.e more phone calls more money..........to sum it up trugga why do you bother having your name & number on business cards if you want to chose who has one?? you might have a perfect explaination but it just doesnt make sense to me m8 & dont take this personal,i just cant make sense of it.........

Hi, I think what Trugga is saying is that if some one wants his number he gives them a card to save them writing it down, but the card ( business type) has the FOG details on to promote the group at the same time, as Trugga is involved in Motor sports and is a great advocate of FOG.

FOG is not a business and we discourage personal details to be broadcast on the Internet, I myself had had problems with this.

Let get it in perspective, personal details are just that, personal, and I know Trugga has alraedy promised to knock up a less personal version that anyone can download.

I did use the smliey smiley after the No comment - surely that counts, especially as I then went on to offer something for the weekend.

And for the record, the "business card" is not a FOG official item - it was something I made; designed, printed and cut out. I just found it useful when representing FOG (eg, disussions with a winch fabricators, getting FOG discount on play days, etc)

This is the calling card I created a year or two back and did post it for all to download, edit and print out (unfortunately, the on-line copy was lost when I lost my free hosing of trugga.co.uk)
