This Bull Bars Name

Postby Reeco on Wed Mar 12, 2008 6:04 pm

Hi All, It looks as if I have a right touch in finding a new model Fronty, so I am looking out for a bull bar like this one,

Has it got a name, also how much are they brand new or second hand. ATB. Reeco

That's a "nudge Bar, A Line" for the Frontera B Series.

Reeco, the nudge bar is about £380 + vat from stealers and it doesnt come painted, just primed. the mounting brackets he is on about in the add are for the spotlights. He says the brackets are there but not the lights. I managed to get an A bar from ebay for £25 on a buy it now :D :D :D :D :D :D dont think the guy knew what he was sitting on.

Good luck

Ian

Reeco - your Sport looks to be an A Series. The A-Bar in you picture above is fitted to an B Series.

The mounting points are different on the A and B chassis, so don't expect to be able to bolt the B Series A-Bar straight on to an A Series.

I dare say it can be done, but will need a bit of fettling.

Hi All, Once again TYVM for all the input, Lawrence I should have said I have sold my 2.8 TDI, my fault. I am looking at buying a 2.2 TDi SWB in the next 3 weeks. It's just a matter of finding the right one. ATB. Reeco

"Jim" there you go

I have a fronty B and I think the hunk of plastic spoils the look.
