banter general discussions etc

I know this topic has been done before, but...
I actually got to ring round for an insurance quote this year before my current insurance actually runs out - I will be changing companies before the months out.
1995 N Frontera 2.8, new engine, 15,000pa Calmini 3" lift, over size tyres, roof rack, winch and winch bumper, SDP, green laning an play days, parked in the street, GLASS member = £205 with £200 excess - WOW
Also, Renault Clio 1.2 BeBob 1994/M £150
That's both cars insured for less than I currently pay for just the one.
Give Adrian Flux a call (and mention the Frontera Owners Group)

I swapped over to adrian flux last year saved myself just over £600 for insurance and another £450 for an alarm my old insurance company said must be fitted before they would insure it !
2.8TD SWB in ASBO Green 1996 Sport S 31-10.5-16 Machos fitted Hi-Lift Jack/Waffle Boards and Asbo Rack !
Its not the size of your engine....its how you use it that counts !

I had a rover 2000 on a classic car policy with adrian flux, thought it was cheap, took it over the 9 month instalments. When I sold it after 2 months and went to cancel the policy I still had most of it to pay. There was a clause in policy that even if you cancelled you still had to pay balance. If you're planning on keeping the car its no problem but just be aware.I'm insured now through NFU for Fronty and milk float and they arn't bad,pay about £700 a year for both fully comp.Had a bump last week, reversed into a car with the float, rang them up and it was all sorted over phone,no hassle.
