just got another fronty

after trying to mend my compleatly destroyed 2.2 petrol fronty with no joy i decided to trade her in for a 1994 2.3 td a series ltd edition naughtalus lwb.never had a diesil fronty but here we go.....ive heard the 2.8td are best but what are the 2.3 like??

The 2.3 isn't the fastest of the diesels but it is a plodder and it will go forever if given frequent oil changes, doesnt to to bad off road either.

mine 2.3td aint that bad,like drift said not the quickest,but goes well no issuses with normal driving i.e driving to the uk speed limits,must say i found it alot more stable on the road than the sport we had before........let us know how you compare it to your 2.2 be nice to know
i wouldnt think there would be alot of difference performance wise

my mate had 2.3 lwb and it was real slow and drank like a fish,he thought thats just the way 2.3's are until a mechanic had a look at it and tweaked the fuel pump,fuel was alot better and it actually could move,was pretty much as quick as my 2.5 of the mark,not as good on the hills though,but i would say there not that much of a slug if there running right :wink:

andy,i read your post earlier & you said you replaced the pipe to your turbo with a rubber one,what was the rubber pipe off,or did you make one fit......... :?:

did it fit or have you gotta adjust it,also when you do in that charity mad sky dive coz like i said i'll give you a fiver,so you better pm me when payment is due,as i have a head like a sive
