not sure paul. Have you taken the scuttle pannel off to have a look at them. it may be that the ball has just popped out of the socket because of the low temp last night. (shrinking balls and all that  ) but seriously, that happened quite a lot with older vx's

Hi,
Managed to get the scuttle off (PIG of a job!) one of the arms has fallen off.
I'm not sure it can be fixed (looks like it'll just fall off again)

The plastic "socket" has worn out.
I'm betting you cant get these separately.
If you can.... anyone have the description and part number?

Another fix is to re-fit the arm, then drill right through and put on a self tapping screw with a washer....do not over-tighten or it wont move freely
