what works on bodywory scratches????well we all know how annoying it is to scratch your fronty, car, van etc.i have a few scratches on my car & have tryed the t-cut scratch remover etc to no joy.now these aint deep marks & a friend of mine has worse marks on a dark blue car,but when he has it valeted they get them out,so what do they use & can you buy it or you gotta be trade????
p.s i dont want to pay to have it valeted i think its a waste of money my frontera 2.3 td is a slug in snails clothing ha
you can use rubbing compound, just make sure you follow diretions on tin, as my uncle used it on his car and he just spread it on thinking it was like t-cut and tried to take it of, but took the paint with it,

For light scratches I use G3 compound
If you do use it then never let it 'dry', always keep it wet when rubbing on the body work. It's the first thing I did to my Frontera when I got it, took an age to do but the end result was worth it.

You could also try 3M Products Fast Cut Compound then Super Fine and then Hand Glaze for the final finish, the fast cut is a little more abrasive than the Ferecla G3, If you only have access to G3 it is a good compound, it's also a good idea to have some G10 for applying after the G3 has been worked into the effected area, it's less abrasive than the G3 and more of a polish than a cutting compound and will buff the area you applied G3 to. when i did my Apprenticeship training for Body & Paint we swore by it, make sure that you do use the cutting compound with water if you are using a polishing mop, as you may or will burn through the paint if the compound becomes dry.
