Went to the donnington 4x4 show a couple of years ago and to be honest thought it was poo . Quite expensive entrance fee and not a lot to see when you got in 
Mostly catered for landies and took me 20 mins to see everything there (the hall is very small). Came away with a tin of cammo paint from Anchor supplies .Found nothing else of much interest .
Hope this dosn`t put too much of a downer on your planned trip ,If your going for a social meet it might be more interesting but I though it very poor value for money and would only consider going if I was local .
