today me and fogman removed my door and front wind to sort out one of the hinges and then the fun started trying to get the door lined up
took us about 3h to sort the door

on the 2.5 replaced some of the water pipes then flushed the radiator only topped up with water until i get the new pipe off BoxCleva.

Spent the day ( 9.15 - 6.30pm) helping Dave fit an injection pump to a 2.5. Not as straight forward as it would appear!!

started out with fitting glow plugs but also toik off cold start, egrs,removed birds nest, fixed cracked bulkhead at clutch pedal and fitted new clutch master cylinder. I have been a busy little beaver havnt I :lol:

As for me nothing on the truck, however pre mot on the Arsetra proved daunting ... low brake performance on the rear, jammed bias valve, and rusty brake pipes. Cleaned the brake pipes, freed off the bias valve, cleaned the drums, lets hope it passes next week :roll:

Inspired by Ratty and his wheel arches I thought it was about time I got into the shed and got my flexi arches cut out and manipulated

I am fed up of not being able to see out the windows when laning or off road as the tyres fling up so much crap.

actually got around to doing my lwb light conversion

At present I'm halfway through taking the egr valve off and cleaning it.
Just gotta replace the rubber seal as I slit it while persuading the valve off with a handful of screwdrivers and a mallet.

Should re assemble really :roll:

i sent all day working on the cars (Christine & Bob) swapped the front bumpers over and the spot lights, fitted the dvd player head unit, fitted the C.B, removed the rear light guards (now on ebay) replaced the leak off pipe's on Bob. then started stripping Christine :wink:

today i picked up my new LSD axle and the shocks and after closer look they are monroe shocks so will be putting thoes on mine sooner than later
and then picked up a set of wheels i have been asked to sell.
so not too bad of a day

ohh and nearly lost my trailer again, defo now need a new tyre for it :oops:

Drove to Sheffield to collect my new muds and wheels. Stopped off at a nice hotel to save driving back till tomorrow.Truck behave very well started much better. Will see how good it is in the cold tomorrow.

Took mine for a drive after over hauling the cooling system (new matrix, new radiator and thermostat) now gets toasty and warm (had to turn it down) also doesn't sound like a bag of nails as it now gets to operating temp (old thermostat stuck open).

Yes a 2.8 with heat :shock:

so far today i have removed the roof rack off the 2.2 and fitted it to the 2.5. not wired up the roof lights yet.
then removed the body lift and the suspension lift off the 2.2
now food then i'll carry on removing bit's.
