I sorted my 2.5 central locking with a £20 remote control accessory kit. Simples.

I got the clap....no this type :clap:

Accidently flicked the back end out on a tight left hand bend on a country lane coming home from work, at a junction a bit further on an Audi pulled along side (he had been behind me) gave me a clap and said he hadnt seen anything like it before laughing his head off, I obviously looked cool and laughed with him.....reality is I shitt my pants :oops:

You said that right, happened a couple of times recently :lol:

No wonder I go through tyres at a stupid rate :oops:

yeah but it's still childish and fun so I think it's worth it, unless you killin your muds

and I have bubbled one of them in the centre by pushing them to far, its delaminating :oh yer:

And my AT's can take the stick now on road as they are a bit more robust in that respect :angel:

4x4 drifting is great fun afterwards ... though at the time knowing that your 2 ton of metal has just decided to go a different way than expected can be a bit daunting at first. Happens to me every now and then when driving in the countryside when you suddenly discover the road around the corner is covered in mud by passing tractors.

I use love stepping the back end out on my crapy (capri) not realy tried in the fronty but i bet it can be fun :shock:

I feel some laning calling me in the next couple of weeks now I will be back to the full set

Its a bit more regular this back end thing since I tweaked the pump :oops:

I thought Capri's only ever went sideways ... the windscreen was merely something to look through as it switched from left to right

Are those recip trails any good? If so where you get yours from?

Aah Capri, 2nd car I ever owned for a whole two weeks spent more time sideways than in a straight line :lol:

and then I blew the box 2nd and 3rd so scrapped it

As for the truck, I tidied out the rubbish and put my tools back in.

They are only rated to about 80mph, but grip very well on the road but like all remoulds they wear quite fast hence me getting AT's as well.

Off road they are great, I even sold my lsd axle because it would have not been worth fitting with these tyres on and at the time I was unemployed and skint :lol:

Time to talk to boss see what she says to me ordering 5 :shock:

changed fuel filter (was that rusty suprised it even let fuel through)
removed what was left of the rear bump stops (need a trip to milners now)
cleaned rear diff plate ready for some hammerite

Fitted new starter motor. Replaced fuel lines from the fuel tank to the front. That actually sounds easier then it was.Checked and tested every thing all ok. Hope it will start a bit better now.

Tweeked the tracking again...will see how it handles now on the way to work tomorrow, and tightened both front bearings....Im thinking about cleaning it for the 1st time since Oct....but I duno....I cleaned the number plate for the MOT man start of the month...so I think it'll wait untill its just a little warmer

Is it hard to do the tracking mate?

Removed the tw@tty bonnet guard thingy, trouble is I don't know if I prefer it on or not now

Fitted, but not yet wired some 12inch 100w spots.

Had a bit of road rage in the disco with a nob in a golf....the idiot cut me up 3 times, then pretended to brake when he was in front....

He needed learning...and got a surprise I think...
His mate flicked me the bird when I leaned on the horn, so I flicked it back on petrol from gas as its has more gee-gee's, banged it into 2nd and mashed it...
He had a rear view mirror full of my front bumper up to licence loosing speed, I dont think he quite expected my doggy looking disco to be packing a cop played with V8 under the hood...
he then pulled into the inside lane and had that owned look on the drivers face as I blasted past. He then dropped back fast and didnt catch up and kept his distance behind even when I backed off again.

Gotta say, the disco does go well...first time I have really abused it...just as well it hasnt got an mpg display, which would have been low single figures I reckon... :shock:

I did sound cool though...
