Took my 2.8lwb for its last significant journey over to essex to pick up some stuff, before its gets repainted in metallic black, lowered to a sensible height and then sold...

Gotta say, I am having second thoughts now though, it drives lovely, the new heater matrix makes it super toasty....and it didnt miss a beat as always.

Dilemmas dilemmas...V8 disco on gas, or 2.8lwb for my tow car...

Admittedly discos do tow better, there is now getting around that, but I am kinda of sentimental to my 2.8lwb...

Freed up rear caliper
Checked rear diff oil (LSD, never had that before!)
Fixed interior lights
Removed the last of the poxy immobiliser
Checked all engine bay levels

2.5 Fronty

Removed yet more bits then dumped it in the car park across the road

Went sideways around a roundabout on the East Lancs and went sideways the other ay when coming off the roundabout....something spilt fuel on the road and it was raining....was fun though

The damage is odd, as it's looks more of a scratch (in the flesh) compared to the pics.

Took the car back to the garage and had them get the heater matrix working again.
It stopped working when they put the dash back in after welding up the firewall.

The best part about it is :- It didn't cost me a penny!
