Dunno what time ... just know the mileage was less than the recommended 60,000 miles. Either way the entire lot is getting replaced with nice brand new bits Saturday. Photo's to follow.

Spent 2 hours under the Fronty on a jack with a grinder cutting away the bolts to remove the center exhaust box..

When trying to refit the new replacement part to the existing pipes..

Damn gaskets dont fit.. now its 10 times noisier

Will have to finish it tomorrow... roll on take 2!

Why didnt you just drill the holes out mate??

I could have drilled it out, but instead went and bought new gaskets at the local factors. The ones that came with the exhaust would have fitted no doubt it i had bought the whole system from Milner. but as it was just a center box I suppose what I had was just old.

I would have had to cut the ends off the gaskets also and did not think that was a good idea.

Major power cut so the Fronty is once again being used as a generator via a power pack - well, I've got to be able to see what I'm eating and....the Dakar is on!

Removed the gearbox, rad, headlights, rear tailgate and various other bits and pieces.

Checked all fluid levels and didnt need to top anything up as normal

I then packed the truck up ready to go playing in the morning

Fitted a new cam position sensor.
