i took mine swimming :lol:

Burst rad hose in cardiff ( thermostat to rad ), Bodged it so to get back to swindon but suspected it was pressureising, had a test done on the cooling system yo check

exhaust gasses in the cooling system. took the insides of the coolant bottle cap out so that it doesent pressureize the system, lots of water and drove back to cardiff with lots of stops to check the coolant levels. 1 mile from home and the cat decides that it doesent want to be left out and snaps at the back

Motorcycle tec by trade so will give it a go as soon as i can get the funds. ( single income family ) so will slowly get eveything before i strip as it will be about 3 months or less if im lucky :lol:

just ordered drilled and grooved rear discs to go with the front ones in the shed :lol:

hopefully fit them early next week

well today i set about putting the missess to work

and my fronty now has a working starter moter :dance:

and i know that a c20 and x20 starter are the same.

and then my work

making a new sil since mine took a good bashing at the last SE picnic :axe:

now is made from military grade bulkheads :dance:

Went laneing and got it stuck dirty and scratched :lol:

The big boys made me go up that last lane and get horribly stuck. They forced me honest

who sorted me out with a new rad n helped me out droppin it in, a spare tyre as i was without 1, pair of spot lamps which he also helped drop on whilst doin the rad, also a pair of lwb rear clusters which will be fitted over the next few days so i can make a solid rear bumper :thumbup:

and last but not least a new fire extinguisher

, so now the truck i bought off him is ready to rock again! :dance:

read the codes and erased 3 and now the truck is running ok again

nothing at all, but i used it to bring a 7 foot set of ladders home.

and i put my old truck up for sale as spares.

Booked her in at a mates workshop so I can do the front wheel bearings both sides, lower ball-joints both sides, timing belt (kit) and water pump.

You spoil her Neal....

I know Greg ... service light came on (yes she has a service light that comes on every 100,000 Km to remind you to change the timing belt) as I was driving to Seaford (near Brighton) over Christmas so she is off the road until I change it. The rest of the bits I have been slowly collecting as they come up on Eblag over the last few months. All in all the entire lot came to around £120.

Bless her rubber socks she is 22 years old now and deserves it.

when was the belt last changed ratty ? theres a time limit as well as mileage on belts :wink:

i couldnt start mine yesterday

the hazzards were flashing mega fast lol fudge came round for a look and after a while we concluded it was the central locking playing up so thats now disconnected & ive got a working fronty again - happy days
