Yep...its defo a frontera....it has the frontera trade mark EML on

managed to fit the serpentine belt and get the old girl back up and running all i need to do now is sort out the dreaded v6 tap tap tappy tap tap.......... 6ltrs of EP90 should do it

I was productive today and on a break at work i cleaned the inside of my windows

oil and filter changed along with nice new antifreeze and waxoyled the bits I missed ready for Winter

I got the bit i needed to make a snorkel . happy days

Brought a plastic ice scraper for the snow thats on it's way and cut a couple of vinyl stickers but it's too cold to fit them

today i ordered 2 new kumho kl71's in 235/85 r16
got them at a good price of 114 posted each

so i will have a matching set of 5 kumho's and one bfg mud :dance:

This evening I started the job I have been putting off for a year! :lol:

So the 2.8lwb is sitting in the workshop with no front seats, no dash board and the heater box sitting on the floor with a new heater matrix in it waiting to be refitted.

Just a case of putting it back together again now, but I am gonna fit proper stereo system at the same time, relocate the CB so the glove box opens again, and do a couple of cunning wiring mods that I have been meaning to do for ages, namely an override switch for the reversing lights so they can be turned on to light up behind when hitching up trailers and stuff, and also an interior light switch tapped into the door switch circuit so the interior lights can be turned on without having to open a door.

Also modding another towbar for it, so its adjustable height, and a lot lower so I can drag trailers without tragging their arses!but removable of course and massively over engineering so I dont bend it this time if I decide to get all 4 wheels off the ground snatching snow bound artics! :lol:

Gonna weld the front diff too while its in there...and lob some aisens on it and swap the chrome 10js over and throw some 33 12.50 bfg muds on fronty star alloys on it for the salty season.

then bring it home again on Sunday.;..

Greg, can't you switch your interior lights on by pulling the sidelight/headlight switch out from the dashboard or has the original switch been removed?

That was only on the facelift A series and B series Dav. The early A series was done on the light itself.

Bought a second hand engine thats no good :lol:

but dont worry its only for some spare working parts

plugged in & stuck the new 3 way 12v adaptor socket on the dash & then just drove it about for a while smiling
