today i got my set of steel wheels balanced as they were way off
as well as that i got all my 285/75's off the rims and punctures repaired and then listed onto ebay

Removed twatty A bar
resealed rocker box
Wire brushed and waxoyled rear break lines
Wire brushed rear diff cover then realised removing the filler plug would almost certainly rip the diff pan to bits - scrappy tomorrow
Adjusted both front doors to reduce wind howl
Fixed iffy rear tailgate glass hinge
Snagged it for a o/s/f bottom arm - complete - scrappy again
Fitted complete set of EGR gaskets
Repaired leaky intercooler hoses
Jetwashed everything underneath and waxoyled anything that needed waxoyling
Drained 30 litres of fuel out of the Dti and dumped it in the 2.5
Checked all levels
Washed it and polished the inside
Replaced glowplug loom (ta dave )

Then realised my Wifi reaches the garden shed so watched telly on my phone with a bottle of Scotch whilst I tidied it. Good day

Stuck a bull bar on the front of the trooper, can push gates open down the woods now without getting out :lol:

had 2 plates welded on both outer sills, taken for retest & have 1 of the new pass certificates

& brought some road tax online, every silver lining has a cloud :oh yer:

took mine for mot today
failed on foglight bulb :cry:

just tapped the fog light and it came back on
now passed mot and on the road at last :dance:

Been on the go since 7 am just home long day got to use the 4wd the day in the snow

Put a new battery on mine. First bit of cold weather and she wouldn't start. Just been out and started no problems

i haven't done a thing to the truck but received a nice parcel in the post :lol:

I took my fronty for M.O.T today and PASSED all happy now time to get it muddy....

Well today

Me and Richard had a day trying so sort by Truck :problem:

We had a look at the wiring looms and and sensors,and we could not find the problem :roll:

so gave up with that.
Then we had a look at how to mount a winch to fit it,and came up with a couple of ideas :think:

(just got to source's the parts)

And then we had a look at some jobs that need doing :lol:

Rear crack shaft seal cost £25 and :drink:

for Richards time and using of his stuff :thumbup:

Hand brake :shock:

new shoes discs and cables £120 just in parts :sick:

So they will be done in the new year

And then we had a look at decating it then Richard spotted my lovely wax oil job and finished it with the proper tools

Brakes international will be cheaper for the parts Jase :wink:

Handbrake shoes about £35 a pair and cables roughly £20 each plus vat think

i payed about £90 for discs pads & shoes for the rears on my b so that sounds about right jason

drained & refilled with new anti/freeze so im all ready for snow

I need the drum bit and the bits that holds the shoes on as well ,as there is nothing left,apart from mud and bits of metal
We been looking at kits that you can get

mine didnt come with the little toggle holders so i used the old ones

went to work in it today for the first time
and nothing fell off :mrgreen:
