Well "muggins" here

tried to fix his bumper,but it looks like it needs striping and welding

I hit it laning on sunday :roll:

A good excuse to fit a winch bumper now mate :lol:

started a grating noise on saturdays laning and thought it was grit in the discs .. carried on through sunday and seemed to be coming and going

removed half of snowdonia with a pressure washer this morning and gave the discs a good blast when i put my 18" wheels back on ... took it for a drive ....still grating !!! :twisted:

seemed to be coming from underneath the car , so quick jack up and spin the rear wheels ... turns out a bash plate that seems to protect the exhaust union had bent and was rubbing on the propshaft ... took it off and "mended " it with a mallet , refited and jobs a good'n :dance:

then i went out and bought a new number plate at the princely sum of £12-99

to replace the one stolen from me by the carwash ..hehe

I will do if the mrs would let me go to the expense,but she is all hormonal about the wedding at the moment :oops:

It was already loose after some one reversed it to it :evil:

, and I did bolt it and Cable tie it before I came away,but i hit a big rock and a bank on the Sunday,as I was not looking what I was doing :oh yer:

In that picture the only thing is holding that bumper on is my nudge bar and my two shackles and two cable ties holding the plastic liner under the wheel arch :lol:

Unloaded the car of all the camping gear.
then Fitted my head light plastic covers.

Narrrr ...it will put my insurance up,but she did offer to pay to get in done,but I just like to keep the peace in my road at the moment :lol:

It will get it done this week at some point :lol:

Jason ... is your nudge bar attached to the chassis or bumper, as that is on the ** * * as well

or did you just wallop both of them and bent the entire lot.

had to take the battery out and re-charge it, as for some reason it didn't have enough power to start the truck..strange really, as it was fine when i left work but couldn't start over when i stopped at the local shop on the way home..no signs of alty not/over charging and the gauge was roughly at normal..mind it has always been a little bit of a "lazy" starter when starting from cold, never when warm though..

Fixed my rev counter.

Stopped working when I dropped down a gear to go around a roundabout ... working normally after exiting the roundabout and giving the dial cluster a sharp whack.

Washed all the mud off it after the weekends laning. Might have been a better idea to leave it on after what I found underneath :lol:

Replaced the rocker cover with second hand one and new rocker gasket.

done a little to mine today , fitted replacement glow plug relay , and sorted the exhaust temp, just got to blast all the chassis and spray underneath with duck oil, just to freshen up and then it will be time to take it for a mot, and go from there spend more money on this or sell and get a newer model ,but seeing as i've got this far should really give it a blast and see whats what. :dance:

just pleased she starts under her own steam for now :drink:
