Haven't used the truck today but have been short listing A/T tyres for it. In some ways not too many worthwhile patterns to choose from, then you end up with cheaper price but high delivery costs so getting the balance right is a bit of a pain. All going well, this time next week should see a new set of tyres - maybe.

I fixed a couple of chaffed wires that where exposed in the loom, noticed them today, the loom must have got trapped between the bulk head and engine when we did the gearbox and angled the engine back, well a small pick some electrical take and good old duck tape saved the day, hope it cures my electrical drain gremlin

well it not what i did to the truck its more like what the truck did to me.
i was trying to bolt the towbar back on when my hand slipped of the spanner. then spend 2 hours up A&E one deep cut with missing skin, split my nail in half.

a&e any one can see thats a insulating tape and kitchen towel fix you really should of posted before trying to fix it your self

Did a little winching today.

Needed to get into the garage/lockup, but the Volvo parked in front of it had a flat battery (and was pointing up hill). And yes, the jump leads were in the garage.

So, parked the Frontera next to it, ran the winch wire up to a strop and snatch block round a lamp post and back down to the Volvo. Sat in the Volvo with the wireless remote and pulled it forwards.

Got what I wanted out of the garage and rolled the Volvo back.

Well today I manage to get the dam think back to getter,and up and running

Still got a electrical problem,that is effecting the fuel to the engine,but that's going to be a job for Rich when he is back
