what i did in my truck today was sit here looking for the post i put in the early hours of this morning that seems to have disspeared but not to worry

I will take the risk at the moment and trust he will leave it there Fudge ... that seems to be the long term storage area in the scrappy.

My current funds are now heading towards my engine top end tweaking project ... or as I am naming it "Operation POP" :twisted:

took a trip down the river to give the dog a walk and on the way back i just had to stand on the gas when the lights went green and shot off the lights and gave the bmw 520d next to me a surpise as he struggled to stay with me to 40 when i backed off as it was the limit and he was in the wrong lane thinking he can blast me off the lights and cut back in rather than joining the 6 other cars behind me at the lights and i had a little sex wee at the look of sheer anger when he had to drop in behind me becasue there was not room for me in the right lane the lorry coming the other way in the correct lane and the traffic lights for the turn right bit for the lane the twonk was in.

more horsepower than sence but i love it :dance:

happened i posted it to one of the kids on skpye as i cound be bother to type it out again.

seeing as i didnt brake the speed limit was in the right lane could not see the problem as it was i had done in my truck today so was on topic.

I dont want to sound too controversial but I can see why that post would have been moderated, people can and do get killed in situations like that and if someone wants to overtake and the other driver is not allowing it and a fatality occurs you may very well get done for causing death by dangerous driving, driving on the public is something we should not take for granted and treated as a game.

I understand your situation and we all feel like that sometimes but the good driver will be the level headed one, not the fastest one :wink:

seeing as over taking is one thing someone in a lane that is right turn only who has made the choice to sneak down the out side of the traffic and then brake the road laws will always be a fault as i was in the correct lane and it is up to me how fast i accellerate up to the limit as long as it is done safely with the a clear road infront. someone trying to shove in disregausring road laws has not rights but you can now remove it if you want it is just i was making a point that it dissapeared without comment no pm saying why or even leaving the post in place and putting removed this because as has happened in the past when posts are edited.

it is gives a guide of what is and is not acceptable as untill someone says one way or the other. a post like this demonstrating some one disregarding the law because they think a big old fronty is a heap and he will have no problem blasting it off the light. or the fact i found it funny to demonstrate that my truck might have been both big and old but it was not slow of the line and that we dont have to allow people who feel road signs and markings are their as a guide and not a rule that they can get away with it as he will think twice next time.

so pull both of these i was just trying to make the point. if something dissapears you think your going crazey or something is wrong

On a WYDTYTT note... 'fixed' a roof clip that's been loose for the past month (but wasn't broken anyway - just hadn't been closed properly!)

i filled my lwb with junk that my mum n dad cleared out their shed to take to dump and forgot to go to dump. I now have a lwb frontera full of junk parked outside my house

haha, that would a big DOH,

Decided to see why the brake pedal travel is a bit longer than it should be , and found that the front brake sliding pins (top ones on both sides)
are completely siezed. I managed to free off the LH side but the RH side is going to be a problem as the pin turns in the caliper support bracket.
So I have lelt it soaking in WD 40 for the night, and see what tomorrow brings.

i was at the dump today doing what didnt do yesterday

It got a wash tonight as for some reason i had old engine oil on my screen, maybe from tree cutting at the weekend i dont no.

Also discovered on way back from morrisons jet wash that i will be fitting new front pads at the weekend :evil:

snapped the cam belt and got it recovered to work :cry:

today i worked out what one i needed for my fronty :dance:

why does there have to be 3 different ones for a c20ne engine :oh yer:

Because things are never easy Fudge ... well done though buddy.

Nothing to my truck, but I fitted an exhaust onto next doors fiesta, should get paid in beer later :drink:
