Passed my MOT :dance:

No advisories or anything, me's a happy chappy

got my new rig and stick on through the glass areial came to day in the post and was fitted

only thing i know it is low range a mile a best so need to go and hunt some tuckers down to see it if works as it mkes the right noises but without anothr one near to check i have no idea.

it is just for fun days so huge range is not a problem so the little midland whip will do for now if it works

the rig is a little derby ts 1000 27/91 40 hannel job lie a baby midland in size and the areal is about 2 foot at best like a car phone areail stuck on the rear quarter wind at present until i can work out where to stick t on the back window or mod it to fit solid state not through glass on the back roof like the little ones the police have

i left at 6.30 am like i normally do for work, and with in a few miles (bout 5-10) i had to stop and then come home

i came home on this tho

my rear brake line split abuot 1" long. so wasnt safe to drive any more :cry:

but when i get home and i put a new line on £3.50 then bleed it and now i have brakes again :dance:

Well I got her going, got back from my jollies and went to start her Wednesday and no electrics at all, so took the battery out and checked it it was fully charged and holding so just replaced it and she started up half turn of the key like she has never be stood for two weeks :lol:

I can only think a terminal was corroded and removing and replacing the battery cleaned it

Any she looks good feels good just gotta juice her up :shock:

spent 4 hours washing and polishing then the pigeons decided to use for target practise :evil:

Decided to do a bit of a de-coke on the Dti today and replace the vac pump seal on the back of the head that I've been dreading doing.

After whipping the rocker box off and swearing at the vac pump for an hour I managed to free the little sod.

Next job , remove the two piece inlet manifold.

Ooops , that's a bit clogged up then :lol:

ideally I would have left it in a bath of degreasant or paraffin overnight, but I needed it running today , so I spent 2 hours scrubbing to get to this.

And then refit it .

And rebuilt ready for bleeding :evil:

Trip counter finally went over 190,000 Km (118,750 miles) yesterday ... I think finally ater 21 years the engine is finally broken in.

Bit gutted I missed out on Andy's trailer - but up popped this on Freecycle this morning.

it got a bashing of 5hrs of offroading im knackered
