fixed the problem with my starter mottor by tightening the nut up as tight as it would go after claning the connections now fires firstim every time. and swaped a bearing out on the top fanbelt pully as it was rattling like a bugger at 2000rpm and when not underload at any revs.

so the money pit is now starting and running sweet rady for this weekends meet.

also dislodged half of mablethopes beach out of my bash plates underneath. bash plate move like sand grabbers :dance:

Spent £120 on a 2 inch diameter piece of paper. It doesn't make it go any faster or improve it's MPG.

i know it is a killer cost £200 for the 12 on mine luckily the gas makes it cheaper

mine is only £30 a year on my new astra

drove my swb for the 1st time today took her to get the exhaust welded up after snapping it while fitting my extended shackles. pretty pleased with her apart fromthe steering appears to be a bit vague

Sold her a few days ago

... Now on the lookout for a new toy/project

Well more what i did with the truck put back seats down and filled full or rubble for the land fill think it might have been a tad full when the chap at the tip asked if i had brought the whole house :lol:

my new spot lights arrived

so had a play with a light bar and then thought better of it and started on the nudge bar.

got a little carried away anf make some alteration to improve air flow and voilaaa instant daylight

andy there is a nice red(maroon) lwb in a scrappy near me so if you cai wait you can get a new back door, insted of that black one you have got

Did'nt do anything to the truck but did service my VW Golf and what a pleasure it was to work on. Cambelt could'nt of been any easier. Just come to work on the motorway and it runs like a new car.

I was getting sick of having to sit my little Halfrauds trolley jack on a sleeper to get the Fronty and inch of the ground. I'd been look on the bay for a while and a decent 3 tonne + trolley jack with a high lift are bloody expensive even second hand.

But the other day I cam across these two jacks . One needs an oil change and a cup to sit on top of the arm (I probably wont bother) and the other works perfectly. Got the pair for £21.56 and they were only 5 miles from my front door

Pic below shows the new (to me) jacks next to my little weedy 2 tonne halfrauds jobbie. They are both Sealey 3 tonne models :drink:

I get nearly a foot more lift with the new ones :dance:

Bloody great result mate. Even second hand they seem to go for upwards of £70
