offside front body or chassis has excessive corrosion, seriously affecting its strength within 30cm of the body mountings,

n/s/f front brake pipe chafed,

n/s/r parking brake no recording

parking brake below requirements,

he also said, it sounds like the the o/s shoes sound like they are grabbing,
and the brakes are spongy, they have been bled, but still feel the same,

No biggy. Set of discs/pads less than £50 per axle delivered. Handbrake shoes aren't much either. I know...just renewed all mine. lol.

changed, got a feeling it might be the vacuum in the wing, he did mention something about power bleeding

Replaced leak off's and diesel filter. Had a biatttttchhhhhhhh of a time bleeding the little sod, but got there in the end. Will post more info with pics in the 2.2D section.

Got 4 new tyres 255x75x15 Black Star m&s (French make). Found a small fuel leak on the flex pipe between filter and pump, poss cause of failure to start when parked uphill, My local Opel Dealer says engine parts for 2.3TD no longer available from Opel France, is this the writing on the wall ? Examined brake pads and shoes, maybe 6 months left before replacement. Looked on eBay fr. for a 2.8.

I topped up the power steering fluid as there's a small leak in one of the joints behind the o.s wheel arch. Also think I've found a leak by the thermostat...there's some pinky white stuff around there. Yet another job on the list. :roll:

Oil Change for old Banshee

i sorted the hole the tree made in the door with a block of wood a hammer and well a welder it aint pretty yet but least its no longer ripped.

Couple of wee bashes with a hammer some filler bit of primer sorted

Bought a 12v fridge/coolbox for the v6,now i just need to get the v6 back to put it in . £20 from Makro tomorro 27th
