WHAT YOU DID TO YOUR TRUCK TODAY!

BC, certainly like the look of the hinged electricals.

Today I slackened and retightened the sump guard bolts - son reports only one "bang" from the car.
Topped up the rear diff oil - about 50ml needed for over 1500miles - not too bad I suppose.

Added trade-only top end additive to some petrol - see if there's any improvement noticed.

thinking get the sport in the drive , and raise it while i wait foir the gasket adjust front bearing, Remove auto hub and clean check groove for cirlcip and refitt an hope it will give me one more day of offroading.
Still dont want to get rid of it but i want that trooper

Thats certainly another option, I just wasnt keen on chopping the rear bumper to be honest

Fitted new viscous coupling to fan,the P38 rover V8 is a straight swap,sorted another bargain from ebay £25......... :dance:

result!!! Just got the EGR to clean up tomorrow,then have a good look at sorting out the rear diff cover...

today i went to look at a gear box that was ment to be a 2.0 one, but was a 2.2b :oh yer:

then been ringing round loads trying to find one close ish and then removing my old box

and tomorrow picking up the box, and then fitting it

not much lost my 10mm spanner down side of engine on lwb an i cant see it . My ratchet broke cause i used it as a hammer while back had to buy new one an the sky open up and peed on me

Swapped my A/t tyres and wheels for some standard ones. Doing loads of road work at the minute so don't want to destroy my BFG's.

Have painted the spare wheels black though with some smoothrite and they have come out ok. Could maybe do with one more coat but like the look.

Also machine polished it to get rid of some of the lane scratches!!

I went to the peaks yesterday, totaled over 400 miles in all, spent £70s worth of derv and reshaped my near side rear quorter pannel, cracked a rear lense and bananaed the filler cap cover. Hay Ho, all in the name of fun eh

oh and I met by chance another foger, but I can't remember what his user name was :oh yer:

I'm currently in a car to standsted, so you'll have to wait for the pics. but to add insult to injurey, the damage wasn't due to the lanes. it was a sodding bollard when I was doin a dodgy 3 point turn

only problem with having a tall car, u can't see short objects :evil:

. I've had the truck 12 months and not put a mark on it, other than scratches, which is prity good considering I'm its only driver (and you've seen my 'try it and find out' attitude to offroading). I am well gutted! still, at least its not leaking oil too much anymore

lol. no I class myself as a natural driver...well thats what every1 else says anyways. but the place I was turning around could have been a few inches bigger lol.
