WHAT YOU DID TO YOUR TRUCK TODAY!

Started off with good intentions, valet it for the meet. After washing & hoovering really could`nae be R`sed. So after spraying tyres with clear tyre sheen,i decided just to take the lazy option & spray it all over car, then wash it again ....just the job.

Exibited the Sport at "Cars in the Park" (Lichfield, Staffordshire)

Ford Escort
Vaxhall Frontera.

Lots of interest in the cars an a few people joined the club over the weekend.

Cracking day out in the summer sunshine, catching up with some old friends.

thanks to horse for the bike rack i now have managed to make it a 12 seater counting the push bike on the back and the 2 ikea 3 seaters in the boot.

Thanks to Jay comin over yesterday and changing my rear leaf spring with me, i took the truck for retest this morning and now have another 12month's worth of care free motoring!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! HAPPY DAYS

yesterday i tried & failed to remove the rear seats from my newish to me swb :lol:

the socket just rung the corners of the bolts off :shock:

i didnt want a 2 seater anyway :butt:

The fail time

Andysd1 was with me as his was supposed to be tested too but a part never turned up in time so he came for the ride.

We went to a bit of waste ground opposite the garage, I got my tools out of the boot and we fixed the car, the garage seemed impressed :lol:

and within the hour .............

A pass :lol:

We even borrowed and extension bar from the garage :lol:

twas good, until ste said lets go for a walk, while waiting for the mot, and we spoted what looked like an old ship ste worked on

Yup saw it from the garage in Bootle, looked like the Sir Tristan, and Army ship I worked on from Southampton

Possibly the gayest ship name ever ?

They where named after the nights of the round table :lol:

like the Sir Galahad that was sunk in the Falklands, then a new Sir Galahad was built a few years latter :wink:

Galahad sounds butch n stuff, it was just Tristen that sounded a bit ,um, julian clary :oops:

It was the Sir Percivale we saw, still I worked on that as well as all the above, happy days in Marchwood and some good trips out
